Following billionaire electric vehicle (EV) mogul Elon Musk’s takeover of the Twitter social media platform, genetically modified (GMO) cereal giant General Mills pulled all of its advertising in protest.
Joining Audi, General Motors (GM), and many other companies that did the same, General Mills confirmed that no more advertising dollars will go into Musk’s latest conquest as the company continues “to monitor this new direction and evaluate our marketing spend.” (Related: Remember when General Mills cereal was tested and found to not contain the ingredients listed on the label?)
Audi issued a similar statement about how the company plans to “continue to evaluate the situation” to see how Musk handles his takeover of Twitter, which has long been a hotbed of far-left political extremism.
The concern among all these multinational corporations is that Musk will cease the censorship of “misinformation,” which to Twitter includes everything from stating vaccine safety facts to reiterating the truth about human biology (i.e., there are only two genders: male and female).
The “woke” corporate mob says it is deeply concerned about the new Musk-controlled Twitter platform tarnishing their brand imagery. Musk’s response to this is that he has no plans to allow Twitter to become a “free-for-all hellscape.”
By all appearances, Musk does not plan to change much, if anything, except to perhaps start charging users a monthly fee for “verified” blue checkmarks and maybe allowing Donald Trump to rejoin following the midterm election cycle.
The NAACP is hoping that everything will remain the same at Twitter, meaning no conservative or Christian speech. The anti-white group believes that anything non-woke represents “dangerous, life-threatening hate and conspiracies.”
The LGBT group GLAAD along with “Color of Change” feel similarly, which is why these two far-left extremist groups are urging advertisers to stop doing business with Twitter immediately.
Until Twitter’s upcoming “content moderation council” is convened, Musk says he has no plans to change anything at Twitter other than to lay off lots and lots of people.
“Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists,” complained Musk in a tweet.
“Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.”
Though not one of the primary platforms through which advertisers market their wares, Twitter relies heavily on ad revenue, which accounts for about 90 percent of its total revenue.
Following the Musk takeover, Twitter lost many of its top executives, including the one who headed up its advertising sales. What happens next for the platform is sure to be a doozy with plenty of entertainment along the way.
“Musk is a false flag and he will only end up regulating Twitter even worse than it was before,” suggested a Natural News reader. “You get a brief honeymoon, then it’s business as usual for a globalist who is no more honorable than Bill Gates.”
“Now, ask yourself, ‘How much nearer are we to that rocket to Mars?’ We didn’t go to Mars for the same reason we didn’t go to the Moon. Musk is hiding his inadequacies by a sudden interest in Twitter which is just a gossip shop that means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Name me one revolution that got started on Twitter. Still waiting.”
Another expressed similar sentiments, warning that in the past Musk pushed mark-of-the-beast-style computer chip brain implants. Musk also gave his child a “gender neutral” space alien name in promotion of transgenderism.
